An inventive Ardara woman will be bringing a bright idea to a new BBC programme today (Monday).
Pat Porter, who now lives in Yorkshire, will be on the new afternoon show ‘The Big Idea Works’, premiering at 2pm.
The series invites people who have a clever idea for a new product to work with a team of the country’s most brilliant engineers and fabricators, to help develop their ideas into fully-functioning and, for some, potentially even money-making prototypes.
In the first episode, Pat would like to create a mess-free birdfeeder that benefits both birds and gardeners.
Businesswoman and entrepreneur Sara Davies leads the project. Will Sara and her experts be able to bring Pat’s idea to life? We’ll have to tune in and see!
