The Raphoe Pastoral Centre Counselling & Psychotherapy Service is currently seeking to recruit Psychotherapists on a contracted basis in Letterkenny and at outreach locations.

1x Adult Psychotherapist –Dunfanaghy/Creeslough Outreach Office, Co. Donegal
3 x Child and/or Adolescent Psychotherapist – Letterkenny and/or Dungloe Outreach Offices

Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for an accredited, compassionate and skilled Adult Psychotherapist and Child and/or Adolescent psychotherapist to join our expanding clinical team.
The successful Adult Therapist candidate will have a proven ability to work with an integrative and/or systemic approach and ensure a person-centred way of working.
The successful Child and/or Adolescent candidate will have a proven ability to employ practical and creative interventions to support young people grappling with trauma and increasingly complex emotional, relational, and societal pressures.
Given the sessional/contracted nature of the post, the successful candidate(s) will enjoy a degree of flexibility in terms of the number of hours they wish to dedicate to working within The Pastoral Centre Clinical Team.
Essential
- A recognized qualification at minimum Level 8* or higher qualification on the NQAI framework in Counselling and/ or Psychotherapy.
*A recognised Level 7 in Counselling and / or Psychotherapy obtained pre-2018 along with accreditation will be accepted.
- Be a fully accredited Psychotherapist with a professional accrediting body (IACP, IAHIP, FTAI, other) and have completed 50 hours of personal therapy as part of training.
- At least two years of post-qualifying experience working with adult clients or with clients up to the age of 18 in private practice or in a specialist psychotherapy service (if applying for Child and/or Adolescent position).
- Specialist Child and/or Adolescent psychotherapy training if applying for the child and/or adolescent psychotherapist position.
