Uisce Éireann has confirmed the Boil Water Notice on the Glenties-Ardara Public Water Supply has finally been lifted.

The move was made following consultation with the HSE and customers on this supply can now resume normal use.

The notice was issued on Friday, 24 January, due to deterioration in the raw water quality impacting the treatment process at the treatment plant following Storm Éowyn.

Staff from Uisce Éireann worked to lift the notice as quickly and as safely as possible. Following satisfactory water sampling results, the notice has now been lifted.
