The Donegal Education and Training Board (ETB) is to receive an additional €435,000 in government funding.

Minister for Further and Higher Education (FET), James Lawless, announced a total of €8 million for further education capital grants to 16 ETBs nationwide.

Using this grant, ETBs will be able to carry out work such as upgrades to computer labs and science labs, replacement of apprenticeship equipment, roof works and planned improvement works to buildings.

Minister Lawless said: “The devolved capital grant allows ETBs to address a range of small-scale capital needs across their FET estates, including minor works and procurement of equipment.”
