Donegal’s ADGY misses out on Eurovision after brilliant performance

Despite an excellent performance on the Late Late Show last night, Donegal’s ADGY missed out on becoming Ireland’s Eurovision choice.

ADGY, Bunbeg singer/songwriter Andrew Carr, was joined by his sister Jennie on stage for Eurosong 2025 last night.

Despite bringing a great performance of their new single Run into the Night to the stage, it was not selected to represent Ireland.

Norwegian singer EMMY came out on top after votes from the public and the judges were tallied up.

EMMY and her song Laika Party will now move on to the contest which is being held in Basel, Switzerland in May.

She will look to build on the success of last year’s entrant from Ireland, Bambi Thug, who finished sixth and recorded the county’s best result at the competition since the year 2000.
