John Mc Carter announced as Donegal Person of the Year – Pic Special

There were scenes of jubilation after the announcement of John Mc Carter as the 2024 Donegal Person of the Year last night.

2023 recipient Moya Brennan was on hand to congratulate John on his achievement at the announcement, which took place at Leo’s Bar in Crolly.

The successful businessman and Chairman of the Board at Fort Dunree was nominated for the Donegal Association’s award for his work in progressing the economic development of the county.

He will be officially inaugurated as The Donegal Person of the Year 2024 at the Donegal Association’s Annual Ball which will take place on Saturday, 29th of March in Bonnington Hotel, Dublin.
