Gardaí are appealing for information following the burglary of a home in Raphoe at the weekend.
The incident took place at Castlegrove, sometime between 8 pm on Sunday and 11 am on Monday morning.
The owner returned after being away for the night to find the back door ajar and items having been disturbed.
However, nothing was stolen nor was any damage caused to gain entry.
Gardaí are asking those who believe they witnessed suspicious activity within these hours to contact them.
