Appeal made after cash stolen in Letterkenny burglary

Gardaí are appealing for assistance after a house was burgled in Letterkenny.

The burglary took place at a house in An Gleann Rua in the Killylastin area of the town, between 9am on Friday the 14th of February and 5pm on Saturday the 15th.

Gardaí say that entry was gained to the house, but no damage was caused in order to do so.

A sum of cash was stolen from within the house.

Anybody who has any information that may assist investigating Gardaí have been asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station.

Gardaí are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have observed suspicious activity or any suspicious vehicles who were spotted in the area.
