Gardaí are looking for witnesses after a criminal damage incident that took place in Stranorlar last week.

The incident took place at an apartment block on Meetinghouse Street on the night of Friday the 14th of February.

At approximately 10:45pm, a group of males damaged the front door of the apartment building, before leaving the scene in the direction of Lifford.

Anyone who was travelling in the Stranorlar area or on the Lifford road between 10:30pm and 11pm on that night, and has a dash cam has been asked to make that footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Gardaí are particularly interested in any sightings of a silver Volkswagen Golf in the area at that time.

Anyone who has any information has been asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074 91 67 100.
