Team Northwest came away with a big win Saturday at ATU Letterkenny against Killarney Cougars with a final score 93-73.

The home side scored 12 three pointers during the match, leading 52-29 at half time.

The Cougars narrowed the gap in the third quarter, but it wasn’t enough to pull the game back. Shakeil Bertrand was top scorer for Northwest with 26 points, while local man Luke Cassidy scored 24.

The next game is in the ATU again next Saturday, March 1, at 5pm against Portlaoise Panthers.

All support is greatly welcomed.
