Donegal Senator Nikki Bradley has been appointed as the spokesperson for Disability and Children in Seanad Éireann.

Confirming the move this morning, she said she was ‘delighted’ with her new role.

“Ensuring that every child has the support they need to thrive and that people with disabilities have equal opportunities in every aspect of life is a responsibility I take seriously,” the Fine Gael Senator said.

“Advocacy, accessibility, and inclusion must be at the heart of policymaking, and I’m committed to using my voice in the Seanad to push for meaningful change. I look forward to working alongside government members, families, and communities to build a more inclusive Ireland.”

This afternoon, Sen Bradley will be attending an All Party Parliamentary Group meeting on Autism.
