The Staffords are leading the way north and south now that they hold Presidential roles at two business chambers!

Jimmy Stafford was yesterday elected as the new President of the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce.

And in his native Cork, his brother Toddy is President of the Cobh & Harbour Chamber.

Jimmy is well known through his work in Bank of Ireland where he is Risk & Operations Manager, Bank of Ireland – West, Midlands & North East and of course as a presenter and producer with Highland Radio.

His older brother Toddy runs a successful local company Stafford Electrical. He has been President of the Cobh & Harbour Chamber since 2023.

On his election, Jimmy Stafford said he was very much looking forward to representing the business community and Chamber members in 2025. “As an adopted Donegal man it is such an honour for to be elected as Chamber President once again by my colleagues in the Chamber Council,” he said.

“When I was President in 2020 I missed out on a lot of interaction with Members and some of our key events which we weren’t able to run because of restrictions. So I was delighted when my Chamber Council colleagues suggested I could be President again. Letterkenny Chamber has grown and developed over the last 4 years so it is an exciting time to take over. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Claire McDonough for his hard work and dedication over the past year and I am committed to carrying out this role with the same enthusiasm and integrity.”
