Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) is a community-led local development company covering all of County Donegal except the Inishowen area. We work to improve the opportunities for people and communities in Donegal to bring about positive changes in their own lives and in their community.
We are currently looking to fill two positions and invite applications for the following roles:
Schemes Department Manager
The Schemes Department Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, administration and management of the Employment and Social Schemes in the Company.
They will ensure a coordinated approach to programmes, specifically the delivery of “Schemes” which are currently but not limited to Tus, RSS, CE Childcare and Job Initiative.
The role requires a recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and / OR a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in employment and social schemes.
Additionally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing large teams in a similar working environment with a proven track record of managing and delivering programmes is essential. The role is based in Letterkenny.
Life Long Learning Project Officer
The Life Long Learning Project Officer required to deliver projects and implement actions planned under Goal 2 of the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP).
The Officer will be required to meet clients on a one-to-one basis and create a supportive environment. They will use coaching and motivational interviewing to assist individuals in their personal development and guide them toward achieving successful outcomes.
A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and / OR a minimum of 3 years relevant coaching and training experience in a similar role is required. The role is based in Donegal town.
