Donegal athlete Mark English has eased his way into the semi-final of the 800 metres at the European Championships.
The Finn Valley athlete was in fourth position on the home straight in Apeldoorn in Holland but upped a gear to qualify in second overall.
He crossed the line in. 1.46.42.
The Letterkenny man, understood to be in fine personal form, will be back for the semi-final tomorrow night.
