There will be a talk and walk on local history and placenames in the Glenfin Gaeltacht next weekend as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

The event will take place on Saturday, from 1pm to 4pm.

Anyone interested can come to the meeting point at Coimín National School (F93 CF67) at 1pm.

The walk is approx 7km and the talk is in Irish, but the organisers will explain everything.

“All we ask is that participants try their ‘cúpla focal’,” a spokesperson of the organisers said.

For further information and to register, call 0872703420.
