The winning €1 Million ticket in Monday’s Daily Million Lotto Draw was sold in Kernan’s of Tullygay, Newmills, it has been revealed.
The life-changing ticket was was bought at the popular shop on Monday last.
The winning numbers were: 1, 3, 7, 8, 12, 33 and the bonus was 23 and the National Lottery has confirmed the winner was a Quick Pick.
Officials will arrive at the store today were they will be greeted by shop manager Barry Daly and his staff.
It is not known if Donegal’s newest millionaire wishes to go public later today.
But the champagne corks will be popping either way today and somebody who bought their ticket at the store on Monday last will be a cool €1,000,000 richer.
Barry Daly, Kernan’s Tullygay Newmills Store Manager, said this was the biggest prize they had ever sold.
He said “I am thrilled with today’s announcement that Kernan’s has sold the first Daily Million top prize win of 2025! This is the biggest prize we have ever sold, and we are over the moon to have done so.
“I’d like to thank our amazing team here at Kernan’s Tullygay Newmills, for their dedication and hard work, serving our loyal customers. We have a lot of regular customers, so it’s exciting to think that one of them may have won this life-changing prize.
