The main Letterkenny-Lifford N14 road has been closed following a serious road traffic collision.
The accident took place this afternoon at Pluck, Manorcunningham – just before the dual carriageway.
Donegal Daily understands that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Members of the emergency services including Gardaí, ambulance service and fire service are currently attending the scene.
Local diversions are currently in place through Manorcunningham as they continue to attend to the scene.
Update: The road has now re-opened following the collision.
