A stove was stolen from a house under renovation in north Donegal last week.
Gardaí are investigating the incident which occurred at Derrycassan, Downings, sometime between 4pm on Saturday the 8th of March and 9.30am on Thursday the 13.
A vacant house in that area that is undergoing renovation was entered after The glass panel in the front door was smashed. A black Henley (non-boiler) stove was stolen from within the house.
Gardaí are appealing to residents in that area to get in touch with them in Milford on 074 9153060 if they observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area between those dates.
“Should anyone come across a similar type of stove for sale on a second hand basis, we ask them to alert Gardaí so we can check the matter out,” a garda spokesperson said.
