Dr. Bonar, fondly remembered as the local GP prior to his retirement, will be greatly missed as a compassionate and dedicated man.

“We have lost a dear friend and colleague,” said a tribute from Dunfanaghy & Creeslough Health Centre.

“The Doctors, Nurses and Administrative staff offer their sincerest condolences to Tony’s family.”

As a mark of respect, the surgery will be closed on Wednesday to allow colleagues to attend Dr. Bonar’s funeral.

Funeral Mass for Dr Bonar will take place in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy on Wednesday 26th March 2025 at 12.00 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
