Gardaí have launched an investigation after a shocking assault and robbery on Buncrana’s Main Street last Thursday.
The incident happened in broad daylight, between 11:30am and midday on Thursday the 27th of March.
An altercation took place between two men, before one of the men was assaulted by the other and had his wallet stolen from him.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to the shocking incident to come forward.
“We are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074 93 205 40.”
“If anyone travelled at Main Street, Buncrana between those times with a dash-cam, we ask them to make the footage available to Gardaí,” they said in a statement.
