A local Councillor has expressed his outrage after a large quantity of broken glass was left in a disabled parking bay in Dunfanaghy.

Cllr Michael McClafferty says that such actions are uncalled for, and pose a danger to the public.

“Outrage in Dunfanaghy after glass smashed in front of and in one of the Disabled bays in the square,” the Councillor told Donegal Daily.

“This uncalled for in any area. Think on vulnerable members of society as well as children who may be walking about without shoes on a warm day or indeed dogs.”

The Councillor is calling on members of the local community to be respectful to others in their actions.

“This is extremely dangerous in any setting, and I’d ask that it’s stopped at once. Be respectful to others.”
