Donegal-based civil engineering firm M&N Civils Ltd has taken delivery of new equipment to the tune of €1.5 million.

The Gweedore company has invested in ten state-of-the-art Hitachi excavators, marking one of the largest single orders of Hitachi machinery in Ireland.

The delivery included six of the 225-7 Hitachi excavators and four of the 135-7 Hitachi models.

The company’s transport team collected the new additions, which were initially delivered to their Dublin depot for final preparations before being deployed to various projects across Ireland.

Founded in 2004 by Managing Director Manus Mc Garvey, M&N Civil Engineering Ltd. has grown from its humble beginnings in a small Donegal office to become one of Ireland’s leading civil engineering firms. The company now employs over 300 people and undertakes projects across Ireland and the UK.
