Buncrana Golf Club notes:
The competition last weekend was an Open Stableford and only 2 players in the entire field managed to shoot to their handicap or better.
The greens are exceptionally fast and catching a lot of the players out with the difficulty of getting the pace right. Damien Mc Cauley (21) took the first prize with a score of 38 pts and it proves “the more you practice the better you get”.
Damien can be seen out most evenings getting his game honed and it certainly paid off last weekend.
Damien will be looking forward to the remainder of the golfing season with a view to adding a few more prizes to his collection. The full results of the 18 Hole Open Stableford played Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th April are as follows;

Membership Renewal
Annual membership fees will have to be paid in full on or before the Wednesday 30th April 2025 and this includes members paying by instalments, without any exceptions. The payment by instalments facility is meant for members who wish to start paying months before the membership deadline and not the week before. The committee will be strict this year, as Golf Ireland will be charging their 2026 fees based on any members still on the clubs database for May 2025.
