Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy was spotted out and about enjoying the spring sunshine and the best of local food in Letterkenny last weekend.

The Virgin Radio UK presenter stopped by a few local businesses and shared some of his highlights of the visit on social media.

Saturday night took Tubs to the Yellow Pepper for dinner, where the staff said he was a “gracious, welcoming and fun guy”. He rounded off the evening in The Cottage Bar.

While out on a run in Rockhill, Tubs posted an Instagram story delighting in the ‘rolling hills’ and quaint cottages of ‘beautiful Donegal’.

The Pinehill Studios crew at Mountain Top also welcomed Tubs for a visit and said: “Thank you for being such a gentleman & generous with your time talking to us all! We hope you enjoy our beautiful county, as much as we do!”

Ryan Tubridy is one of a number of celebrities to visit sunny Donegal in recent weeks.

Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley was spotted shopping in Donegal Town and Ramelton in recent days. Also in Ramelton is actor Ciarán Hinds, who has been pictured with locals while he stays in Donegal to work on a new film ‘The Man with the Urn”.
