Clonmany Tidy Towns is calling on the community to support their Christmas lights display by participating in a special Easter Quiz.

The fundraising event is scheduled for Good Friday, 18th April, starting at 8:30 pm at The Square Bar.

Come along to prove if you’re the smartest team in the town!

This fun-filled quiz night aims to raise enough funds to bring the cherished Christmas lights back to Clonmany for the festive season of 2025.

There’ll be chances to win raffle prizes and even a €25 bar tab. Entry to the quiz is priced at just €5 per person.

Clonmany Tidy Towns expressed their sincere gratitude to Philip Brennan of The Square Bar for generously hosting the event. They are hopeful for a strong turnout from the local community.

A spokesperson said: “We have had great switch-on events at Christmas in Clonmany that all ages enjoy…. and we plan to again this year but it’s fundraisers like this that make the thing possible. So hopefully we can get people to attend. and help us plan for Christmas 25.”

For those who are unable to attend the quiz but still wish to contribute to the Clonmany Christmas lights and Tidy Towns efforts, an online donation platform has been set up at https://www.gofundme.com/f/clonmany-christmas-lights-and-tidy-towns.
