The Twin Towns are gearing up for what should be another wonderful Easter Eggstravaganza this weekend!
Organised by the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Business Chamber, the family- friendly event will take place on Easter Saturday, the 19th of April.
The celebrations begin at 10:00 AM with a kids Easter Egg Hunt in Drumboe Woods,(booking mandatory).
The fun continues with a Family Fun Day at The BASE Enterprise Centre, Stranorlar. From 1pm-4pm. Visitors can indulge in a variety of activities including bonnet decorating, amusements, games, food stalls, and a petting zoo. Not forgetting the chaotic and hilarious kids tractor run! Kids of all ages from 0+ yrs old are invited to take part. Just bring your own pedal tractor and race to the finish line! Go karts, bikes, trikes, tractors, diggers, scooters or skateboards! If its self propelled its allowed! Unfortunately due to safety for everyone attending, the organisers can’t allow vehicles that used fuel.
At 5:00 PM, head to the River Finn for the highly anticipated Daft Raft Race, where creative teams will race down the river in their homemade rafts. It’s sure to be a hilarious and thrilling spectacle you won’t want to miss.
Finally, the day wraps up with a Presentation Dance at Jackson’s Hotel, where everyone is welcome to join in the celebration. Dance the night away to the legendary “The Cufflinks” and into the wee hours with DJ John Bosco. Doors from 9.30pm. Tickets are on sale at The BASE Enterprise Centre, Stranorlar, or on the door on the night.
With something for everyone, from egg hunts to live music, it’s a day (and night) to remember. Don’t miss out on the fun!
