The Drumboe Martyrs were remembered at an annual commemoration in Ballybofey today.

This year marks 102 years since four young republican soldiers were killed at Drumboe Castle on the 14th of March, 1923.

A large crowd gathered in the Twin Towns to pay tribute today, including local members of Sinn Fein.

A wreath was laid at the execution site at Drumboe Woods, in remembrance of Lieut. Dan Enright, Lieut. Timothy O’Sullivan, Comm. General Charles Daly and Brig. Comdt. Sean Larkin0.
