Pieta House is seeking volunteers at a number of Donegal locations for next month’s Darkness into Light event.

The annual sunrise walk is taking place on May 10 around the county, with thousands of walkers and runners taking the candlelit routes for various reasons of support, solidarity, remembrance and gratitude. As a result, the organisers are also on the lookout for volunteers.

Helpers are needed from 3.30am – 5.30am on May 10th, at the following locations across Donegal: Buncrana, Letterkenny and Donegal Town.

If you’d like to volunteer at these, or any other locations, please contact Sinead Ronan Wells at sineadronanwells@pieta.ie or call her on 0858042697.

A full list of all Darkness into Light walks for Pieta can be found at darknessintolight.ie. The walk will be taking place in the following towns in Donegal; Letterkenny, Rathmullen, Carrick, Carndonagh, Gweedore, Greencastle, Narin/Portnoo, Donegal Town, Ballybofey and Stranolar, Carrigart, Burtonport, Buncrana, and Bundoran.
