Breaking: Man airlifted after incident on Errigal

A man has been airlifted to hospital after an incident that occurred on Errigal Mountain this afternoon.

Donegal Daily understands that the incident took place around midday, with the Rescue 118 helicopter being called out to the scene to assist in his evacuation.

The Malin Head Coast Guard has confirmed to Donegal Daily that Rescue 118 was involved in airlifting a male casualty to Letterkenny University Hospital.

However, no update was made available regarding the severity of the man’s injuries or his condition.
