Players in Letterkenny are being asked to check their tickets as the shop where last night’s lucky €500,000 Donegal Euromillions winning ticket was sold has been confirmed!

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Callaghan’s XL on Main Street, Letterkenny on the day of the draw, Friday the 25th of April.

The winning numbers in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 5, 16, 21, 36 and 46.

Now, the lucky winner is being urged to come forward!

Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson, said:

“What a night for Letterkenny as a player in the town has claimed a life-changing amount of money, winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000! This is the 13th EuroMillions Plus win so far in 2025. In total over 49,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.”

The National Lottery is urging all players in the Donegal area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.

It also marks the second big Lotto win in as many months for Letterkenny, after a mystery syndicate in Newmills claimed €1 million in the 10th of March Daily Million draw.
