“It’s okay not to feel okay”

Former Donegal star Brendan Devenney and Tyrone All Ireland winner Ronan McNamee will put aside county rivalries to promote better mental and physical health in the workplace.

Members of the local community are also invited to take part in LC Packaging’s Customer and Community Wellbeing event at their premises in Newtowncunningham on April 30th.

There’s fun and games on offer, as well as refreshments and a chance to meet the lineup of inspiring speakers.

It’s all part of a unique initiative aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the workplace.

‘It’s okay not to feel okay, and it’s absolutely okay to ask for help” says Managing Director Donach Gartlan, “At LC Packaging, we’ve worked hard to build a culture where people feel comfortable speaking openly about how they’re feeling. Our goal is to continue to create an environment where mental wellbeing is prioritised. We’re excited to host this event which is a natural extension of that vision and we’re really excited to invite our customers, community, and employees to be a part of it.”

The event takes place on National Workplace Wellbeing Day and is supported by I Am Here which is a global metal health movement.

A Day Focused on Wellness, Connection, and Community

This community-focused event will bring together members of the Newtowncunningham community, alongside some of LC Packaging’s valued customers. The day will feature:

  • Inspiring talks on mental health and physical wellbeing
  • Refreshments, including hot food, tea, and coffee
  • Some fun & healthy games.
