Gardaí have issued an appeal over an incident at Festival Park in Buncrana in March.
It’s believed that a vehicle crashed into the fence of the playground at the Shore Front on the night of Saturday the 29th of March.
Significant damage was caused, prompting public anger.
Gardaí have confirmed that they recently received a report in relation to the incident, which is now being treated as criminal damage.
A spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540. Any relevant information is sought and as always we appeal for dash-cam footage from the area.”
