Gardaí are investigating the theft of a flatbed trailer from a yard in the Newmills area last weekend.
The incident occurred at a yard near the Corn & Flax Mill in Newmills sometime between 5pm on Friday, the 25th of April, and 9am on Monday, the 28th of April.
Access to the yard was gained after locks were cut off two gates. The trailer stolen is described as a 10ft by 4ft Mc Kelvey flatbed trailer with twin axles.
Gardaí are particularly appealing to the public to report if they come across a trailer matching the description being offered for sale second-hand.
Anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the Newmills area during the timeframe of the theft (Friday evening to Monday morning) is asked to come forward to assist with the investigation.
