Jimmy’s parking the car!
With the countdown on for the Donegal International Car Push on 21st May, the news is going nationwide!
On Wednesday 21st May (7pm), eleven crews from local gyms will be pushing eleven cars on a 5km route around Letterkenny.
The challenge is in aid of Relay for Life Donegal, supporting the Irish Cancer Society.
Popular social media comic Séamus Lehane has been trying to get his head around the challenge – and has come up with an out of this world conclusion!

While McGuinness’ squad won’t actually be pushing cars to Croker, the car push is one that has to be seen to be believed. All are welcome to stand along the route and cheer on the teams.
The route will be as follows: starting point at Divers’ Hyundai onto the Neil T. Blaney Road, turning left at the Joe Bonner Road traffic lights, joining the Port Road again, turning left at the Station House Roundabout and then passing the Community Centre again back to the starting point at Divers’ for a second lap.
Obviously not everyone will be able to be present on the day, but donations can be made online through the following link: https://www.relayforlife.ie/event/donegal/donate
Relay has something to offer everyone, so please do join us to find out more about this amazing event.
Relay For Life Donegal will be back at ATU Letterkenny, Co Donegal again this year on 24 May 2025.
