Killea singer David James will be one of three rising country artists to perform on The Late Late Show tonight.
David, who is also a popular presenter on Highland Radio, will be joined by Claudia Buckley and Gerry Guthrie for a special segment celebrating 100 years of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
The stars will be singing a timeless country classic to mark the legendary institution in Music City.
David, who has been performing since he was a teen, came to national attention when asked by none other than Daniel O’Donnell to duet with him on the 2021 hit single, ‘Don’t Take The Good Times For Granted’ – a sure sign the young man had truly arrived.
He has been a mentor on the last two seasons of TG4’s country talent show, Glór Tíre.
Also on tonight’s Late Late Show are Tánaiste Simon Harris, Lottie Ryan and Boyband stars Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden.
