Donegal County Council has undertaken a speed limit review of all public roads in towns, villages and settlements with an existing speed limit of 60km/h or lower.
These speed limits have been assessed in accordance with the Department of Transport guidelines and proposed changes recommended.
The Council is running a 2-week non-statutory consultation period including drop in events in each Municipal District to facilitate public feedback on the proposals. Proposals which include the introduction of several 30km/h Urban Zones will be presented on colour coded maps.

Drop in events will set out details of all proposed changes to current urban speed limits within the county and our team will be available to discuss issues and provide assistance to members of the public.
