Donegal fans of Ros na Rún invited to weigh in on storylines

Ros na Rún is seeking Donegal viewers to give their opinions on storylines and characters in the form of focus groups.

TG4’s long-established drama series is rapidly approaching its milestone celebratory 30th season of broadcast this Autumn, and producers are keen to speak with loyal audience members.

Ireland’s only rural-based TV drama series is renowned for being the first to expose many rural social issues including Irish TV’s first same sex kiss amongst other high profile story lines. Producers are inviting fans and viewers, whether Gaeilgóirí or English speaking fans to register for their focus groups and come forward and discuss their thoughts on character and story formations with their scripting and production team.

Register on focas@rosnarun.com and you will be sent a choice of online or in person focus group options to choose from based on your availability. Ultimately its your feedback, concepts and thoughts that are required as Ros na Rún continue to innovate and develop the drama series for its loyal TV audience across the island of Ireland and worldwide.

“Ros na Rún is blessed with a loyal audience all over the world. We’re an Irish language rural based TV series with both Irish and English speaking fan base who’re hugely supportive of our characters and stories. As we approach an exciting 30th season, we’re looking ahead to new characters and stories and we’re keen to get valuable insights from our fans,” says series producer, Marion Ní Loingsigh. “Our long established characters and younger actors are in tune with their audience and our scriptwriters are keen to satisfy both our talented actors and our eager audience and live focus groups will yield a good foresight for the future stories of Ros na Rún.”

Register your interest with an email to focas@rosnarun.com before May 8th next. For all the latest, follow Ros na Rún on all social media channels.
