Organisers of Darkness Into Light 2025 have announced a special late registration evening for participants in the Letterkenny area.

The event, which raises vital funds and awareness for suicide prevention and mental health support services, will see hundreds take part in the early-morning walk on Saturday, May 10th, starting from the An Danlann Building at ATU Letterkenny at 4:15am.

Late registration will take place at An Danlann, ATU Letterkenny, on Friday, May 9th, from 5pm to 7pm. Registration fees are €22 per adult, €5 per teenager, and free for children. Event t-shirts will also be available for purchase at €8. Those unable to attend in person can still register online at darknessintolight.ie.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early on the morning of the walk to soak in the community spirit and the meaningful atmosphere of this powerful event, which begins in darkness and ends in dawn light, symbolising hope and healing.

After the walk, refreshments will be served at the ATU, providing a warm and welcoming space for reflection and conversation. In support of the cause, The Counter at ATU will also open early at 5am, offering breakfast to walkers and supporters.

Join the Letterkenny community as they walk together to bring light to the darkness and support those impacted by suicide and self-harm. Every step counts.
