Donegal County Council has asked he public to be patient as they process a high number of applications for the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant Scheme.

Donegal has received the highest number of applications in the country for such grants.

A spokesperson for Donegal County Council said “We are delighted with this response to the grant scheme.  The team is working as quickly as possible to process applications, respond to emails and phone queries, arrange first and final inspections and make payments.

“We are dealing with new applications in date order of receipt, and we appreciate applicant’s patience as we process these. The average processing time for new applications is approximately 6 – 8 weeks.

“The average wait time for a first inspection is 4 weeks and final inspection is 4 – 6 weeks.

“There is no current closing date for applications and the scheme is included in the Programme for Government 2030.”

Scéim Deontais Athchóirithe ‘Croí Cónaithe’

Tá líon ard iarratas faigthe ag Comhairle Contae Dhún na nGall faoi láthair ar an Scéim Deontais Athchóirithe ‘Croí Cónaithe’. Táimid thar a bheith sásta  leis an bhfreagra seo ar an scéim deontais.

Tá an fhoireann ag obair chomh tapa agus is féidir leo chun iarratais a phróiseáil, freagra a thabhairt ar r-phoist agus ar ghlaonna gutháin, an chéad chigireacht agus cigireacht deiridh a eagrú agus íocaíochtaí a dhéanamh.

Táimid ag déileáil le hiarratais úra in ord dáta fála agus táimid buíoch as foighne an iarratasóra agus iad á bpróiseáil againn. Is é an meán-am próiseála d’iarratais úr ná timpeall 6-8 seachtaine. Is é an meán-am feithimh don chéad iniúchadh ná timpeall 4 seachtaine agus is é an t-iniúchadh deiridh ná 4-6 seachtaine i ndiaidh admhálacha a chur isteach.

Níl aon spriocdháta le haghaidh iarratas faoi láthair agus tá an scéim seo curtha isteach sa Chlár don Rialtas 2030.
