A fundraiser has been launched for a man who lost his life while climbing Errigal Mountain recently.
Carl Henderson collapsed and died after climbing the iconic Donegal mountain on April 26th last.
He was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital but unfortunately passed away some time later.
Warm tributes were paid to the 48-year-old loving husband and father of three.
Now a friend has launched a Go Fund Me campaign to help Carl’s wife Caroline help with the cost of Carl’s funeral and family costs.
The friend said “Everyone is aware of the sudden sad passing of Carl Henderson on Saturday 26th April 25. Carl was a devoted, wonderful and loving husband to Caroline and a loving caring father to his 3 children Aibhilin, Rían and Caoimhe.
“With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Carl’s wife Caroline and the children to help with any family expenses etc.
“It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through.
“Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Carl’s wife Caroline and children in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you in advance for your loving kindness.”
