Donegal Sports Partnership were the winners of the Corn Sheáin Uí Longáin Comórtas Foirne Team Event at Dunfanaghy Golf Club.
Seán and Eileen Ó Longáin attended the poresentation of rizes, including the Corn Sheáin Uí Longáin Comórtas Foirne Cup and Seán addressed us in his own inimitable style!
As the scorecards were checked by the committee, only a single Stableford point separated the top three teams.
Deirdre O’ Toole and Myles Sweeney secured the Cup for the Sports Partnership team on a score of 50pts just edging out Coláiste Ailigh’s John Bosco Gallagher and Tommy O’Neill on a B.O.T.
Ciaran Ferry and Dylan O’Dwyer also of Coláiste Ailigh secured 3 rd place on 49pts.

Runners Up of the Corn Sheáin Uí Longáin Comórtas Foirne Team Event Colaiste Ailigh.
After the 5 th outing in the Singles Stableford event for Golfer of the Year, Tommy Greally finished in 1 st place with an impressive score of 40pts. Ciaran Ferry secured 2 nd place on 38pts. with John Bosco Gallagher a point behind in 3 rd . We had a three way tie for 4 th place. Rory White just edging it over Marcel McCafferty and Ciarán Mac Ruaidhrí on a B.O.T.
After 5 events in the Golfer of the Year, Tommy Greally is way ahead on 78pts. followed by Paddy McDaid in 2 nd place on 56pts. Danny Conaghan on 50pts and Aidan Guthrie on 49pts complete the top four.
It is much tighter in the Magnificent 7 Signature Hole competition, Tommy Greally sits on 9pts followed closely by Eamonn Mc Donnell, Eanna O’Mainín, Marcel McCafferty and Myles Sweeney all on 8pts.
