Falcarragh woman Hannah Ní Dhomhnaill has joined the Nuacht Cúla4 team as the new Ulster reporter.

The 25-year-old will join reporters Seán Ó Maoilchiaráin, Katelyn Hayes and Laura Pakenham on the Nuacht Cúla4 team, providing daily six-minute news bulletins especially for children from Tuesday to Friday at 1:30pm on the new Cúla4 channel.

Hannah was born and raised in An Fál Carrach in the Donegal Gaeltacht. A past pupil of Scoil Chnoc na Naomh in Derryconnor and Pobalscoil Chloich Cheannfhaola, she undertook a degree in Children’s Studies and Irish at University of Galway.

Hannah enjoys being creative in her daily life and this trait also shows in her professional life. She has a keen interest in art, music and filmmaking. Her favourite music is pop, and she also has a great love of traditional music. In her free time, Hannah loves to be outdoors, on nature walks around her native area.

Schools can tune in to watch live and keep up to date with the news of the day online from their classrooms or on catchup on the Cúla4 player at Cula4.com

The dedicated Irish language channel for children Cúla4 airs for 14 hours a day from 6am every morning until 8pm every evening.  It is available on Saorview – Channel 18, Channel 602 on Virgin Media, Sky 624 and Eir will all carry the young people’s channel, and online via the Cúla4 and TG4 Player Cula4.com and the Cúla4 App.
