Armagh 3-09 v 0-07 Donegal
Donegal’s Senior Ladies footballers were soundly defeated by Armagh in this afternoon’s Ulster Final, on a day where clinical finishing in front of goal made all the difference.
Two goals in the first 15 minutes of the contest from Armagh’s Aoife McCoy gave Donegal a tall mountain to climb early on in Clones.

Donegal would only notch one singular first-half score through Suzanne White, entering the break down 2-04 to 0-01 and with it all to do.
They did fight back with a couple of scores early in the second period, but a third Armagh goal on the 48th minute from Niamh Coleman put one hand on the trophy for the Orchard County ladies.
Donegal could only string together some consolation scores in the final minutes as Armagh ran out comfortable 11-point winners.
Up next, Donegal’s Senior men’s footballers will be looking to avenge that defeat when they also take on Armagh at St Tiernach’s Park.
Throw-in for the men’s final is at 5:25pm.
