A Kincasslagh hotel once owned by Donegal star Daniel O’Donnell is going to auction.
Bids for The Viking Hotel will start at €475,000.
Daniel O’Donnell purchased the Viking House Hotel in 1993, quickly establishing it as a popular destination for his global fanbase.
Daniel’s late sister Kathleen and her husband John Doogan managed the business, which was later sold in the 2000s to the Carey family from the Midlands. They continued its success until 2021, when Colm Bonner took ownership of the 14-bedroom hotel. The property came back on the market last year.
The upcoming auction is being managed by Campbells Auctioneers in partnership with Iamsold. A date has not yet been announced for the auction, but potential bidders are being invited to register interest.
