Doagh Famine Village is to reopen after the recent fire which caused huge damage to the tourist attraction.
However, it’s hard to keep a good man like Patrick Doherty and his staff down.
The centre has just announced it will open its doors ot the public again on Wednesday next, May 21st.
A spokesperson said “Doagh Famine Village is pleased to announce our reopening following the recent extensive fire.
“While the experience is currently scaled down, we’re proud to welcome visitors once again and continue sharing our story.
“We’re deeply grateful for all the kind messages and support — it’s meant the world to us.”
Guided tours run daily, starting at 10:30am, with the final tour at 4:00pm. We look forward to seeing you soon and reconnecting with each of you.
