Residents of an Inishowen estate fear someone will be seriously injured or killed following the latest incident there.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, a car crashed into the wall that separates Grianan Park from the main Buncrana road causing it to partially collapse (main pic).
One resident, who did wish to be named, said they feared someone will be badly hurt or lose their life unless action is taken.
“This is not the first time this has happened. We have had issues over the years with cars speeding up the Main Street, performing doughnuts etc,” they said.
The sound of revving engines at 3am, they added, is commonplace.
“I am writing this to see if there is any way to bring some wider awareness to this issue in general, and more specifically, to see if anyone has information on the incident on Saturday night. It will eventually result in death – either of a driver, or some innocent victim in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
The latest crash has been reported to Gardaí.
