The Bluestack Challenge committee has made a generous donation to Donegal players travelling to Italy next month to represent Ireland at the European Down Syndrome Futsal Championship.

They are pictured (main pic) with their parents and members of the committee, at Blas Gateway Lodge, where they were presented with a cheque for €1,000.

“On behalf of their many fundraising hill walkers, the Bluestack Challenge committee were delighted to be able to contribute €1,000 to help support the Co. Donegal team players on their upcoming trip, which is primarily self-funded,” a spokesperson said.

“Best of luck to our local lad David Crawford, along with Hughie Sweeney from Gweedore and Daniel O’Reilly from Letterkenny. We know they’ll do themselves, the county and the country proud. Up Donegal.”
