Two of Coláiste Ailigh’s very best students returned yesterday to celebrate the superb achievement of receiving top marks in the Leaving Cert.
Brilliant Caoimhin O Cnaimhsí achieved top marks in his Leaving Cert Design and Communication Graphics exam in 2024, becoming the second student in Coláiste Ailigh’s history to achieve top marks.
He met with the only other Coláiste Ailigh student to achieve the same feat in a Leaving Cert subject at a special ceremony.
The baton was passed on to Caoimhin by Cait Ní Mhorda who had first achieved the feat in 2017.
He was also accompanied by his parents Angel and Anthony to collect the special certificate, as they also met with Colaiste Ailigh Príomhoide Sean Mac Suibhnem and teachers Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuí and Blaine O Maolagain.
