The trailer for Pierce Brosnan’s new highly-anticipated film that has been shot in Donegal has just been released.

The former Bond frontman stars in Four Letters of Love, alongside fellow Hollywood stars Helena Bonham-Carter and Gabriel Byrne.

Filming took place for the movie across Donegal in 2023, and now the trailer has dropped ahead of its release in cinemas on Friday the 18th of July.

A big-screen adaption of the best-selling novel by Niall Williams, it also sees starring roles for young Irish actors Fionn O’Shea and Ann Skelly.

“Nicholas (Fionn O’Shea) and Isabel (Ann Skelly) were made for each other but how will they ever know it?,” the synopsis of the film reads.

“As ghosts, fate and the sheer power of true love pull them together, so too does life threaten to tear them apart.”

“The young lovers embark on their own individual journeys of heartache and misplaced love, before fate contrives to pull the threads of their lives together. When they meet, it is a miracle.”
