People from across all walks of life in Donegal have gathered in Letterkenny once again for the annual Relay for Life fundraiser.
A large crowd has gathered throughout the 24-hour event at the ATU Donegal campus to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society.
Some of Donegal’s biggest stars have also been out in force to support the event, including Daniel and Majella O’Donnell, as well as Moya Brennan.
Last night saw the symbolic luminaria, a light display that remembers all of those whose lives have been touched by cancer in one way or another.
The 24-hour team walk, symbolising the ongoing battle against cancer, will finish at 4pm this afternoon with all members of the public invited to come along and support the competitors, as well as enjoying some live entertainment and raising money for a good cause.
